Pet waste removal questions
What areas do you serve?
Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, and Olmos Park in the San Antonio area. If you are nearby and not sure you are covered, call or text (210) 660-8003 to ask.
How often can you come?
Regular service runs one, two, or three visits a week. Pick the schedule that fits how much your yard or pet area gets used.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Pooper Scooper '09 does not use contracts.
Do you work with businesses?
Yes. Commercial pet waste removal is available for businesses and properties with pet areas, such as apartment communities, HOAs, and business grounds.
What does "Pick Up, Spray, and Take Away" mean?
It is the visit in three steps: pet waste is picked up, yard deodorizing is sprayed on the spots pets use most when you add it, and the waste is taken away with us.
What does yard deodorizing include?
It is a deodorizing spray for the areas your pets use most. Ask about the product and when pets can go back outside when you book.
Can I add yard deodorizing to regular pickup?
Yes. Yard deodorizing pairs with residential or commercial pet waste removal. Mention it when you call or text.
Do you let me know when the yard is done?
Yes. You get a text when the job is complete, so you know the yard is clear before anyone heads outside.
Who comes to my yard?
B.P. Foley, the owner. Pooper Scooper '09 is a one-person business, so you see the same person on every visit.
How many dogs can you handle?
Pooper Scooper '09 cleans up after dogs of all sizes, one dog or several. Mention how many dogs use the yard when you call or text.
Do you pick up old, dried waste too?
Yes. Old piles, including the white, dried-out ones, get picked up along with the fresh ones.
Isn't dog poop good for the grass?
No. It is a common myth. Left in the yard, dog waste can burn and discolor grass, draw flies and other pests, spread bacteria and parasites, and smell worse the longer it sits.
Should I schedule a visit before the lawn gets mowed?
It helps. A visit before mowing day means your lawn crew is not dodging piles, and nothing gets thrown across the yard by the mower.
How much does it cost?
Residential pickup is $100 a month for one visit a week, $150 a month for two, and $200 a month for three, with no contract. For commercial pickup or yard deodorizing, request a quote or call or text (210) 660-8003.
Who runs Pooper Scooper '09?
Pooper Scooper '09 is owned and operated by B.P. Foley.
How do I get started?
